Round one of the 2018 Witzenberg Motorklub Gymkhana Championship is set to take place 40km from Piketberg and 25km from Velddrif on the R399.
This will in fact be the 4th Dagbreek Gymkhana with round 3 having taken place on Saturday 21 June 2014. Then the area bacame storage for the roadworks repairing the R399 between Velddrif and Piketberg. Almost four years later this is now a beautiful road to drive on with no surprise potholes in the mist.
The opening round of the 2018 Witzenberg Gymkhana Championship saw the popular series return to the West Coast for the 4th Dagbreek Gymkhana Piketberg on Saturday 24 March 2018. Now in it’s 19th season the series have produced a number of young talents who progressed to more senior formula once they had established themselves at club level.
