Date:
Saturday, October 19, 2013
Temperatures from 05h00-17h00 will range from 9ºC to 23ºC with a Southerly 4m/s wind and no chance of rain. Arrive safely and plan a slow trip home.
Rumours have it that there may be a late entry or two on the Saturday. A red LDV and possibly a blue LDV? One never knows what might join in the fun. A very trick Corolla - a long lost Corolla and Conquest and hopefully the other sneezing Golf too.
Entries are open for the 5th Witzenberg Motorklub Gymkhana Ceres. We have become accustomed to running the Ceres events on the old Station premises but this event will take place in Arion and Atlas Streets, next to the Station. Spectators will in fact be parking inside the station grounds.
Spectators areas will be restricted - please do not enter properties that are not stated as being spectator areas. The pit area will be on the northern side of Du Plessis Auto with the Start and Finish in front of their premises in Arion Street. Documentation will take place inside the building.
Late addition to the calender will be the 2nd visit to Ceres Industrial for an interesting Gymkhana that could be described as similar to Wolseley, yet completely different!

Driving to Ceres via Slanghoek set the scene for a fantastic day in the Boland and the 5th Witzenberg Motorklub Ceres Gymkhana on Saturday 19 October 2013 exceeded all expectations. Nestled at the foot of the Witzenberg Mountains one could not have asked for a more impressive setting and Leon Engelbrecht opened proceedings with a fitting message.
Jacques du Plessis and Danye Louw saved...
