Thrilling Season Finalé

Killarney International Raceway presented the final round of the regional Wingfield Motors Power Series in an eighteen race format featuring the RST Suzuki Superbikes with two 10 lap heats. Though the overall championship was already done and dusted the quality of racing amongst the Superbikes have simply been phenomenal in 2018 and to finish the season as the top dogs in the entertainment stakes was well deserved indeed.

Arriving at the Killarney International Raceway in complete darkness relates to winter and the weather certainly led to a number of withdrawals from the various categories based on not having wet weather tyres or simply not being willing to accept the challenge presented by a new surface. Considered a real neutralizer of power advantages the hardy Killarney spectators accepted the fact that it was going to be a wet day and still showed great support in being present in good numbers.
