Independance Day Power Series will light up Killarney

4 Hours for 4 Seconds

A busy motorsport weekend with the MOTUL FIM World Superbikes chasing after a dominant Alvaro Bautista on the Aruba.IT Ducati Panigale V4 R at the Chang International Thailand circuit Thailand, Fernando Alonso set the fastest time ever to claim pole for the Sebring 12 Hour 1000km in the No 8 Gazoo Toyota RS050 Hybrid and going on to win the race convincingly. Gazoo Toyota Hilux entries started first and second in the SACCS Mpumalanga 400 with Henk Lategan ahead of Giniel de Villiers with the latter taking victory.

Mind that Porsche!

Opening event of the 2019 Killarney International Raceway did not quite meet the traditional historic expectations and Friday 8 February 2019 had a somewhat unusual atmosphere in the sense that the presence of possibly the most exotic field of modern extreme supercars ever enjoyed most of the attention.

Thrilling Season Finalé

Killarney International Raceway presented the final round of the regional Wingfield Motors Power Series in an eighteen race format featuring the RST Suzuki Superbikes with two 10 lap heats. Though the overall championship was already done and dusted the quality of racing amongst the Superbikes have simply been phenomenal in 2018 and to finish the season as the top dogs in the entertainment stakes was well deserved indeed.
