Stefanie’s fortunes changed in 2013

 

Finally after three years of misfortune and frustration Stefanie’s fortunes changed with the purchase of the RunX S200 Challenge car and proper and meticulous preparation by Paulo Piazza-Musso, and now she can really shows her talent and passion for this sport.

The year kicked off with her maiden rally in this car and class in the Durban Total Rally where she damaged the radiator of the car in stage three on the same jump that resulted Enzo to roll, which spelled the end of her rally whilst lying tenth overall.

Overberg Blind Navigators Rally

The Caledon Casino, Hotel,Spa and Entertainment is proudly hosting the 2013 Blind Navigators Rally organized by the Western Cape arm of the South African Regularity Rally Association.

On Saturday the 7th of September, will kick off and end at the resort.

Manitou Group-VW Polo R2 on the podium in Gauteng

Past weekend, the team of Paul Franken and Henry Kohne, competing with the Manitou Group VW Polo R2, kicked off the second half of the South African National Rally Championship in a higher gear.

 

Heading into the event, knowing that they have the equipment and pace to be competitive they looked forward to put their streak of bad luck behind them and score a good result. Preparing for the event and doing a recci run on the Thursday, the team knew that day 1 was going to be tough and that they first had to survive it before they could think of a result.

Peiser takes two

With the September national rally set to take place in the Swartland the prospect of valuable test time in the area had three regular national teams pitch for action at Wittedam on Saturday 22 June 2013. Round three of the Western Province Rally Championship attracting a healthy nineteen car entry and pleasant weather conditions added to the pleasant atmosphere.

Rallying is healthy in the place of the frog!

Just travelling to Tsumeb is an adventure in itself, something local residents probably no longer appreciate as they have become accustomed to the sight of sprinting Warthog and massive Anthills indicating north.
