Ceres Lions Blind Navigators Regularity Rally – Saturday 8th June

The third in the Annual Blind Navigators Rally Series of the Western Cape is being run with the Ceres Lions from the primary school in Van Riebeeck Road in Prince Alfred Hamlet and it will finish at the same venue.   The 142km route is all on tar and will take about 2 hours.    The first car is away at 11h00, after Documentation which opens at 09h30, and then the others leave at 2 minute intervals.

Few would argue that the second round of the 2013 Western Province Rally Championship was run in possibly the most beautiful area in the Western Cape when fourteen teams congregated at Alhambra, the absolutely stunning Witzenberg Properties venue run by Pieter Graaff – Willem Burger and JP Visagie. Even the weather made one forget that winter was approaching!

SA champions Cronje and Houghton win Sasol Rally for second successive year

The Cronje/Houghton/Ford rally roadshow rolled on relentlessly in Mpumalanga this weekend as reigning SA champions Mark Cronje and Robin Houghton brought their four-wheel drive S2000 Ford Dealer Team Fiesta home in first place in an extremely wet and muddy Sasol Rally for the second year in succession.

 

In the process the pair increased their lead in the 2013 championship after their victory in the season-opening Total Rally in Mpumalanga in March.

 

TOYOTA Motorsport tackles Sasol Rally with new Yaris

The Sasol Rally, round two of the 2013 SA Rally Championship, is one that Castrol Team Toyota has won seven times since the first event 21 years ago in 1992, three times with the Conquest, twice with the RunX and twice with the Auris.
