All Tar - All Action

The Freightmore All Rally at the Killarney International Raceway lived up to it’s fearsome legacy of being a true test of man and machine when only 13 of the original 28 entries were classified as finishers of the 28-29 July 2017 event. This event demands good preparation, exceptional concentration and the smallest error normally results in dire consequences as the scenery at Killarney is normally concrete in construction.

Healthy Entry for Freightmore All Tar Rally

The entry list for the CCMCC / WPMC All Tar Rally reflect a twenty one car presence in the rally category and four for the racing car category, but this event normally has a number of late entries leading into the actual event and 28/29 July 2017 will undoubtedly result in another very entertaining and challenging 98km of special stages.

Rallyists vs Racers - The 2017 Challenge have commenced!

To be or not to be? Will the tarmac racers reign supreme or will the rallyists be able to restore their pride when competitors accept the annual All Tar Rally Challenge on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 July 2017 at the Killarney International Raceway. The 2016 event became rather heated but there is no confirmation that all staff at Killarney will be issued with crash helmets for the duration of the 2017 event.

Riebeek Valley Rally - Team 467

Saturday 1 July 2017 dawned with chilly, but near perfect, rally conditions in the Swartland district with the recent rain removing dust from the rallying equation and with no wind there would be no chill factor. Beautiful sunshine saw hordes of spectators at every vantage point and set the scene for the perfect start to the second half of the 2017 Western Province Rally Championship. Team 467 enjoyed a perfect result on the Ceres Toyota Rally but an unexpected engine failure led to a almost standard engine being prepared as interim.
